Girl Scout Cookie Time!

Once again it's Girl Scout Cookie time! The economy has taken a bite out of cookie sales...only 600 boxes this year compared to 1300 last year. We might be looking for a "bail-out" too!!

I killed Barney...

For those of you that don't know Beau has been driving a little purple Metro for about 16 months that she bought for a few hundred dollars. She loved this car for the tremendous gas savings having put 45k miles since owning it. She affectionately called it "Barney". Yesterday while driving in rush hour traffic, everyone came to a sudden stop and Barney was not sudden enough! Fortunately Beau did not sustain permanent injury, just air bag burns and contusions. As you can see Barney was not as lucky...as usual, Derek came to the rescue! He was just a few miles behind in the traffic and was his usual calming force amid the chaos!

We're grateful that no one was seriously injured but Barney will be missed!!!
